WEB DEVELOPER

Utilize your technical expertise to help build and support mission-critical applications within our Information Services department. A front-end programmer is needed to code in-house applications using ColdFusion and other Internet application tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Internet-based applications and other technologies within a supportive and mentoring environment

• Research and prototype new technologies that improve efficiencies or offer valuable new services for our clients and coworkers

• Troubleshoot technical issues with high-impact production applications in collaboration with a team of technical experts

• Work with the project team to define functional requirements and estimate completion times in a goal-setting environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in computer programming, computer science, or a related field with emphasis on formal programming training, depending upon position level

• A minimum of six months of relevant work experience and a technical understanding of Internet applications

• Knowledge of networking principles, OOP principles, and Internet servers

• Specific experience with one or more of the following: SQL, database design, ColdFusion, Flex, Flash, Java, JSP, JBoss or other J2EE platform, XML, XSLT, VBA, .NET, Python, PHP, Microsoft SharePoint, professional graphics packages, user interface design, JavaScript, e-commerce, messaging services, Web services
